Hello Everyone,

I am so excited to announce that there are a few spaces that have opened for fall registration. Thank you for your patience who were on my waiting list.  Because I have made space for all those on the waiting list.  And there are still a few spaces left. So don't miss out!

Now that our first week of lessons has finished, I wanted to let you know of a few changes around here. Just like before, registration forms along with your registration fee and first monthly amount must be returned to hold your time slot.  Here is the change, I know have an instrument requirement.  For voice and theory students only, this does not apply to you. This is for piano students.

Our new instrument policy.  Home Instrument: An acoustic piano, or a digital piano that has a full-size keyboard (88 keys), has touch-sensitive keys, and at lease one pedal is required. This will give my students the proper tools to learn technique, and expression and access more repertoire.

There are so many smaller keyboards that vary in quality.  They do not help a student learn or stick to learning as much as piano, whether digital or acoustic. As my colleague from Paloma Piano says; "They do not sound or feel like a piano and practicing on a keyboard will be discouraging."

We have also found that having a better instrument inspires a student to practice and learn.  And as many of my posts say, practice is a vital part of learning any instrument.

I know you appreciate me having a high quality instrument to teach your children on.  And it will be a great way to help students become better piano players too.  Because even if you have only been learning for a week or your whole life (like me), you are a pianist!  We want the best. Because you're worth it.

Musically yours,

Mrs. Jenn

Fall Registration

Thursday, August 4, 2022 by Jennie Higgins | Register

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far.  But... Today we are talking about the fall.  I have exciting news!

My schedule is almost completely full for the fall!  WOW!  There are only 3 spaces left, and it is only the beginning of August!
If you haven't registered or completed your registration, you need to right away!

How do I register?
There is a "New Student Registration" button that you click on to sign up for piano on my website; loveofpiano.adamo.ca.
You fill in the student information and it instantly sends me an email.  I will then contact you and let you know if there is space available, and if that time will work for you. I will then email you a registration form and calendar that you need to get back to me right away, along with the registration fee to confirm you spot!  Then we confirm everything is correct, book an evaluation and begin piano lessons!!
So exciting!

What if there is no spot?
Then I can put you on my waiting list and I will contact you immediately if a spot opens up.

What if I registered and haven't returned my registration form yet?
Then your registration is only tentatively held until August 26, the last day of summer lessons. After that, your space becomes open for someone on the waiting list.
Don't delay!  Finish your registration today!

Hope everyone has an awesome summer!  And remember!  Keep practicing and loving music!

Musically yours,
Mrs. Jennie
